The Slicer Awards are the UK's first awards programme dedicated entirely to fractional, freelance, interim and consultancy marketing and communications leaders across the UK.
Every day, fractional marketers deliver extraordinary work - repositioning brands, driving commercial growth, launching products, building marketing functions from scratch. That work rarely gets the public recognition it deserves, because fractionals work behind the scenes and often aren't eligible for many of the existing award programmes. That changes now...
... The Slice Awards are open to all fractional marketing and communications leaders in the UK - both Slice Network members and non-members alike.
These awards provide a platform for professionals to showcase their work, network with industry peers, and gain well-deserved recognition for their contributions to fractional marketing innovation and leadership. Whether you're a seasoned expert or an emerging talent, your work deserves to be celebrated.
Join us to celebrate fractional marketing excellence on Wednesday 4 November, hosted by Robert Half in the London HQ offices in The Shard.
Good luck!
Jeremy & Catherine

Outcome-led and sector-agnostic. Great fractional marketing and communications work is recognisable regardless of industry or budget. Choose the category that best fits the work you want to showcase.
A business looked one way. After your work, it looked different - and the market noticed. This category is for repositioning, brand launches and identity overhauls where strategic rigour met creative conviction and the result is evidenced in commercial terms. Not a rebrand for its own sake. A deliberate act of market-making with results to prove it.

Pipeline built. Revenue moved. Acquisition cost justified. This category rewards fractional marketing leaders who set a commercial target and hit it — through customer acquisition strategy, demand generation programmes or performance marketing that delivered qualified growth. Activity without outcome doesn't belong here. Show your working.

You saw what was possible before most people did. Then you built it, deployed it and measured what changed. This category is for fractional leaders who used AI, marketing technology or data infrastructure to deliver a fundamentally better marketing outcome - not as a proof of concept, but as a commercial reality. Evidence of impact is not optional.

Nothing exists until it lands. This category is for fractional leaders who took something new - a product, service, brand or business - to market with strategic precision and made it stick. Speed to traction, early commercial momentum and clear category positioning are the marks of a winning entry. The brief was to launch. The question is whether the market responded.

Visibility earned. Trust built. Inbound created. This category rewards the PR strategies, thought leadership programmes and content campaigns that changed how a client was perceived - and made that shift count commercially. Judges are not interested in output. They are interested in what the output did. Coverage, pipeline, authority, inbound - bring the evidence.

Someone had to build the engine. This category is for the fractional leaders who changed how a marketing function operates - the team design, the technology infrastructure, the ways of working that made everything that followed possible. This work is often invisible to the outside world and always foundational to commercial performance. It belongs on a stage.

Plus there will be one winner chosen from the six category winners by the judging panel. This isn't the best entry of the night - it's the best piece of fractional marketing leadership of the year.
The work that made the strongest case for what a fractional marketer can achieve when given the trust, the brief and the room to deliver. Judges will be looking for the entry that sets the standard - not just for the category it won, but for the profession.

Review the six categories and identify where your work fits best. You may enter more than one - each submission is judged separately.

Complete the entry form. Three questions - the brief, what you did, and the results. Word limits are tight. Judges read every word. Make them count.

Entry is £30 per submission. Paid Slice members receive their first entry free. Payment processed securely through Stripe.
