TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern membership of The Slice Network (“Slice”, “we”, “us”, “our”), operated by The Slice Network Limited.

By subscribing to membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Slice is a professional networking community for fractional marketers.


2. Membership Structure

  • Membership fee: £12 per month
     
  • Minimum commitment: 3 months
     
  • Billing: Monthly recurring via Stripe
     
  • Membership renews automatically unless cancelled
     

After the initial 3-month minimum term, members may cancel at any time.

If a member cancels, access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

If payment fails or is cancelled, access to all Slice community spaces will be removed.


3. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at the sole discretion of The Slice Network Limited.

If a member forgets to cancel before billing, refunds will be considered reasonably but are not automatic.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Members will receive at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.


4. Membership Approval & Access

All membership applications are subject to manual approval.

Members may invite others to apply; however, all new applicants must be formally approved before joining.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms or behaviour inconsistent with community standards.


5. Community Conduct

Slice is a professional, respectful environment.

Members agree:

  • Not to harass, discriminate or act abusively toward other members
  • Not to spam, aggressively solicit or sell to other members
  • Not to poach clients or misuse community relationships
  • To respect the confidentiality of discussions within private spaces
  • Not to share private member discussions externally without permission
     

Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.


6. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Slice, including but not limited to:

  • Event recordings
  • Workshops
  • Presentations
  • Templates
  • Resources
     

remain the intellectual property of The Slice Network Limited.

Members may not reproduce, distribute or share Slice materials externally without prior written permission.

Event recordings may not be redistributed.

7. Member Content & Confidentiality

Members retain ownership of content they share.

However:

  • All discussions within private LinkedIn, WhatsApp and event spaces are considered confidential.
  • Member contributions will not be shared externally by Slice without permission.
  • Members agree not to share other members’ contributions externally without permission.
     

8. Event Recording

Events hosted via Zoom may be recorded.

By attending, members acknowledge that recordings may be shared within the membership community.


9. Foundational Member Display

Certain members may be publicly displayed on the Slice website as Foundational Members.

Members may also reference their Slice membership publicly (e.g. on LinkedIn).


10. Nature of Service

Slice is a professional networking and community platform.

We do not provide regulated professional advice, legal advice, financial advice, or guarantees of business outcomes.

Members are responsible for their own commercial decisions.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Slice shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
     
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total membership fees paid by the member in the 12 months preceding any claim.
     

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where unlawful to do so.


12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate membership at our discretion if:

  • A member breaches these Terms
     
  • Conduct damages the community
     
  • Payment fails
     

Upon termination, access to all community spaces will cease.


13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on our website.

Continued membership after updates constitutes acceptance.


14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
